Reflective Practice in Action: Activity 1 - Reflective Thought
Reflective thought is useful for lecturers especially when you reflect or response to a particular problem that has arisen in one of the classes. It's implies a more systematic process of finding out more about how you teach and how you deal with incident.
Such practice would have prevented us from jumping into conclusions.

The 44-year-old Briton, who emigrated to Perth in Western Australia six years ago, is going to put up his entire whole life for sale. And when he says everything, he means everything. The sale includes his house and everything that is within the house, his car, his motorbike, even his friends and his job (in a rug store), dependent on a two-week trial period. It is all up for sale. No doubt.
Then there is all the equipment that goes hand in hand with his outdoor, adventurous lifestyle: kite-surfing gear, bodyboards, a mountain bike and a skydiving outfit. The package, thought to be worth at least A$500,000 — or £230,000 — is a pretty attractive one for anyone open-minded enough to believe they can purchase themselves a ready-made life and seamlessly pick it up where he leaves off.
Just because of a painful breakup with his wife and he wants a fresh start after realizing that most things in his current life remind him of the relationship he had with the wife of five years whom he broke up with more than a year ago. A life for sale and i thought it was pretty interesting to do that.
So when the auction is over he will take his passport to the airport and buy a ticket on the first flight out of there, wherever it is going.
So i just watched Silent Scream on Channel U. A life documentary of a cancer patient that reached the advance stage of cancer, accepting the fact of dying, about his will, educating his family, the battle period, the arrival and facing of death, till the day he left this world with the funeral march. Everything is documented.
It taught me the precious of living in this world again.
So, i finally got myself a face book.
Everything ended well and nice. Three years of companion, ups and down, emotions and memories brought everyone back together at the closure ceremony. The front platform was filled with all random emotions, throwing of lanyards up high, cutting the cake and the popping of champagne. Witnessing the setting up of the exhibition and tearing down of it leaves a pretty unbearable feel. Im glad that our efforts paid off.
The Closing Ceremony will be one of the greatest shows of our life.
